Born to Jamaican parents, Brooklyn-born and Far Rockaway Queens-raised, ShaKim Bio is a novelist, screenwriter, publisher, and cultural commentator whose work reaches far beyond literature. Through books, journalism, screenplays, and youth-focused initiatives, he turns hard-earned life lessons into powerful stories that educate, redirect, and inspire.

Drawing from real-life experiences, ShaKim Bio has built a respected voice in underground literature and prison journalism. His work explores culture, decision-making, accountability, and the hidden consequences of choices that can alter the course of a life.

As the co-owner of Mikahs 7 Publishings and Kingpin 2 Inkpen Publishings LLC, he is committed not only to telling his own story but also to creating opportunities for emerging writers and independent voices to be heard.

Every project he creates carries the same mission: helping young people recognize the warning signs, make better decisions, and choose a path toward growth rather than regret.
